Acoustic Frame

Acoustic frame 3d print, front view.

Hollow strips hold layers of cotton batting for sound absorption. The strips are connected with wood edgebanding. I used Mahogany edgebanding that was leftover from a past project. I discovered that it is best to assemble the strips with the edgebanding before putting them on the wall. I used 3M Command 10 lb strips to attach the edgeband strips to the wall in various places.

To assemble, slide an assembled cross top bot into place, slide an Art print, slide an assembled cross center, another art print, and lastly, another assembled cross top bot into place.
