Schröcker mentions a stand made by “superlux” in his description. I think a substitute for this in USA could be iron plumbing pipes with floor flanges on both ends.

This lamp has an ESP32 inside the base and DIY Machines created a parametric model for adjustment to different spool sizes.

If you don’t care for soldering, the Adafruit ESP32-S2 Feather may be a viable replacement.
